Program Objectives
Graduates of the Biomedical Engineering program:
1. They will identify and solve engineering problems through analysis, experimentation and creativity based on mathematical and scientific knowledge.
2. Design and develop electrical and electronic systems, components and processes with discipline, teamwork and communication skills
3. They will be innovators and entrepreneurs who will be employable in their professional fields or aim for advanced academic degrees, both at the national and international level, in industry or government institutions.
4. They will continue their professional development through internship and in-service training, practical experience, self- and interdisciplinary work, sharing knowledge and experience, advanced courses and degrees, leadership and guidance.
5. They will contribute to society as productive engineers in practice, research and management during their professional careers in the light of the moral, social and ecological responsibility of engineering.
